Personal Training

Work with Susanna Sparrow, exercise specialist personal trainer, to achieve your goals.

Using varying methods, including Pilates and gym based modalities, to suit your needs and goals and also taste, you'll be guided safely to excellent technique, motivated to adhere and achieve great progress. After a consultation to identify your training needs, you'll set goals for the short mid and long term.

Great technique and a foundation of 'core strength' and a restoration of muscle balance will be sought, from which you'll progress your fitness, achieve what you set out to achieve, safely and effectively.

Optional 'homework' is included and recommended, with a training card tailored to you and helping to advance your training.

Personal Training

for back pain management

Work with an exercise specialist in lower back pain to manage your symptoms, helping to prevent and rehabilitate. 

Using specialist exercise and Pilates techniques, your personal training will be at your home and requires a very small amount of space. 

Optional homework in between sessions is included and you will be prescribed a 'program' which you'll be encouraged to perform in between sessions.

Appropriate for all ages and levels of experience. 

Susanna is an 'Exercise on referral' instructor and as such, is qualified to communicate with your GP or physiotherapist to take referrals. Sessions are not paid for by the NHS but referral notes may be used to gain further insight into your physical condition in order to design a suitable program of rehabilitative exercise. 

Postnatal

Personal Training

Personal training to your home where you can work with your personal trainer and your baby by your side :)

Susanna has worked with many women to reduce diastasis recti (postnatal abdominal muscle separation), rebuild core strength, address posture and muscle balance and achieve weight loss where needed and safely.

8 weekly Postnatal PT sessions plus optional  'homework', will grant you a foundation of core strength from which to progress your fitness training safely and confidently.

Working with specific and agreed goals, you'll progress through your program learning effective Pilates, cardiovascular and resistance techniques along with nutrition for exercise. Optional daily homework is provided via a training card which is updated as appropriate to encourage safe progression. Intensive training is also available where can opt to see your trainer daily or more than once per week.

Exercise on referral from your GP or Physiotherapist

Susanna works as part of the Camden and Islington 'Exercise on Referral' team.

Ask your NHS GP about whether you might qualify for this service.

Or see Susanna privately. It is now well recognised that specific exercise can help to reduce the symptoms of many health problems. 

Susanna is trained in 'exercise on referral' and works to help people with the following chronic illnesses:
